The E J Sawer trophy is awarded to the Institute who has had the most Increased Insitiute Membership. In 2024, that was us at Karaka Women's Institute.
This trophy was first awarded in 1991. Karaka has won this tropy in 2019, the year we were established and last year. Let's hope we can increase our membership more and win it again.

Our trophy joined us for our July dinner meeting at Urban Soul Karaka.

Our cup "EJ Sawer Trophy" has enjoyed a staycation in Auckland City, relaxing by the pool, then enjoying the sunset from the hotel.
Saturday was spent taking in the exhibitions of "The Art of Banksy" and "A Century of Modern Art" -
Our "cup" travelled to Papamoa, then, was off to the beach. Enjoying the winter sun and beach weather with no crowds and Willow by her side.
